The sun shone bright on a beautiful Saturday morning as the biggest brands in Philippine fitness gathered together at the Globe Circuit Grounds Makati, to be part of the first ever Milo Nutri Up Fitness Convention last April 16. Seeing everyone together in one space was such a treat. Honestly, I may have went a little bit crazy over all the activities that went on that day. We're talking fitness forums, nutrition lectures, work out stations, performances and so much more! It was really fitness heaven!
Kicked off the day teaching people how to fly! Set up a booth with Polecats Manila and brought our equipment out of the studio. The Philippine Flag Football Team, Calibarzz and even friends from Coach Pro Manila gave it a go. I was happy to see them challenged by our sport, but most importantly, learning how fun it is to be up in the air.
Later in the afternoon, we met the Century Superbod winners Olivia Medina and Tom Esconde, and joined them on stage for an ab workout demo. We showed the crowd some exercises they can do everyday at home to get that perfect summer body.
It was like going on a field trip! I had fun checking out the different booths that were set up at the grounds. But what was even more fun, was joining their sessions. The coaches of all the different fitness studios were there in the field that day. It was the perfect time to do something you've always been wanting to try. Polecats Manila, Fitness First, Gold's Gym, Life Yoga, 360 Pro, and Ninja Academy just to name a few, all had ongoing demos althroughout the fitcon. The best of the best in one place.
I even got to catch the launch of Lexi's Spinning class at the Gold's Gym booth! YAY!
But ofcourse, my favorite has got to be the Milo station located right up the entrance. Milo Nutri Up is designed specifically for active adults like me! With a higher protein content, Milo Nutri Up helps muscles recover faster and stronger. More protein is always good news for us fitnes folk. Must stock up the next time I go food shopping.
